The Director of National Sales is responsible for setting measurable and attainable sales goals for various accounts including:
- Increasing sales volume & profitability growth
- Increasing product distribution
- Managing inventory through precise forecasting
- Establishing, managing and maintaining key business relationships
The Director of National Sales will create a “Business Plan” to include the above initiatives, plus the business plan will include sales management and progress for in-house sales executives, field sales reps and distributors.
The director of national sales must be an expert consultant with 5+ years experience national accounts in Consumer packaged goods environments, retail management of accounts such as Toys-R-Us, sales and distribution channels for Sporting Goods, and Health and Wellness alignment.
